The scope included installation of superstructure fall-prevention systems, strengthening of piers and pier caps, and seismic enhancement of foundations. Retrofit works were implemented in phases based on existing bridge conditions to ensure traffic flow and structural safety during construction. Executed while maintaining normal highway operations, the project integrated foundation strengthening, pier column jacketing, and installation of seismic restraint devices to improve the overall seismic performance of the bridge system.
